RESPONSBILITIES
ï?? Work permits verification for hot & cold jobs as per GI-2.100
ï?? Provide training to employees and contractors on PTW systems and requirements.
ï?? Verify that all permits are completed accurately and comply with the company's safety standards
and policies.
ï?? Ensure Lifting Permits are issued and reviewed for all critical and non-routine lifts, following
Saudi Aramcoâ??s Safety Work Permit System (GI-2.100)
ï?? Ensure compliance with HSE regulations (OSHA, IOSH) and company standards during all lifting
activities.
ï?? Implement and enforce Saudi Aramco General Instructions (GI-7.028) and NEBOSH guidelines
for lifting operations.
ï?? Perform and document Task Risk Assessments (TRA) for all lifting activities, identifying potential
hazards and mitigation measures.
ï?? Conduct pre-lift safety briefings to ensure clear communication of hazards, lifting plans, and
emergency protocols.
ï?? Ensure crane operators, riggers, signalers, and lifting supervisors are competent, trained, and
certified as per Saudi Aramco GI-7.027.
ï?? Verify lifting plans (including load calculations, lift category, and crane capacity) in line with
Saudi Aramco GI-7.029 for critical and non-critical lifts.
