• Structure–Activity Relationship (SAR) studies
• Semi-synthesis and molecular modification of bioactive compounds
• Purification, crystallization, and recrystallization techniques
• Chromatographic methods including column chromatography, normal-phase chromatography, reverse-phase chromatography, and HPLC
