General Job Scope as and when required
1. Design and Engineering
Design pumping stations, booster stations, and mechanical equipment layouts.
Select and size pumps, motors, valves, pipelines, pressure vessels, and related equipment.
Prepare hydraulic calculations and mechanical design reports.
Review technical specifications, drawings, and equipment datasheets.
Ensure designs comply with applicable standards and regulations.
2. Project Planning and Coordination
Coordinate with civil, electrical, instrumentation, and process engineers.
Participate in project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
Review contractor submittals and shop drawings.
Support procurement activities by evaluating equipment suppliers and technical offers.
3. Construction Supervision
Monitor installation of mechanical equipment on site.
Ensure construction activities meet project specifications and quality requirements.
Conduct inspections and witness equipment testing.
Resolve technical issues during construction and commissioning.
4. Testing and Commissioning
Develop commissioning procedures for pumps, treatment systems, and mechanical facilities.
Perform functional testing and performance verification.
Troubleshoot operational problems and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare commissioning and handover documentation.
5. Operation and Maintenance Support
Develop preventive maintenance plans.
Analyze equipment performance and reliability.
Recommend upgrades and energy-efficiency improvements.
Support asset management and lifecycle planning.
6. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
Participate in risk assessments and hazard analyses.
Promote safe work practices during construction and operation.
