Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of kitchen equipment and facility systems. The technician performs prompt repairs, preventive maintenance (including electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration systems), and complies with health and safety standards to minimize downtime and ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Preventive and Routine Maintenance: Conduct scheduled inspections and maintenance of cooking equipment, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Troubleshooting and Repairs: Promptly diagnose faults in equipment such as ovens, fryers, refrigerators, and carry out the necessary repairs.

Emergency Response: Respond quickly to unexpected equipment failures, particularly during peak operating hours, to prevent disruption to customer service.

Health and Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to hygiene, food safety, and occupational health and safety standards while performing maintenance work.

Spare Parts Management: Monitor equipment condition and prepare regular reports on maintenance requirements and spare parts needed.

Job Requirements

Experience in a technical field (Electrical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or Mechanical Engineering)
