About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Accounts Payable to lead and manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable function within a dynamic aviation environment. The role is responsible for ensuring timely invoice processing, supplier payments, reconciliations, compliance, and strong internal controls while driving automation and process improvements through Oracle Fusion ERP.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the complete Accounts Payable cycle, including invoice processing, validation, approvals, reconciliations, and payment execution.
• Ensure accurate recording of invoices with appropriate coding, tax treatment, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor compliance with payment terms and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Oversee critical vendor payments, including operational and service-related suppliers.
• Lead AP month-end closing activities and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Manage Oracle Fusion AP processes, including PO and Non-PO invoices, prepayments, credit notes, supplier reconciliations, and AP-to-GL reconciliations.
• Drive AP automation initiatives such as workflow approvals, OCR processing, invoice scanning, supplier self-service portals, and touchless invoice processing.
• Prepare payment forecasts and support cash flow planning and working capital management.
• Conduct supplier reconciliations, review aging reports, and identify outstanding liabilities and accrual requirements.
• Generate AP aging, cash commitment, payment forecast, and management reports.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team while implementing performance metrics and best practices.
Key Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in Accounts Payable leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Accounts Payable module.
• Experience in AP automation, process optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Excellent knowledge of supplier reconciliations, payment controls, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Prior experience within the aviation or airline industry will be an added advantage.
