Key Responsibilities Stock Monitoring: Track inventory levels, analyze sales trends, and forecast supply needs to prevent stockouts. Order Management: Place purchase orders with vendors, track shipments, and coordinate the receipt of goods. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate databases of all inventory transactions, transfers, and pricing. Auditing & Reconciling: Conduct regular physical cycle counts and troubleshoot any discrepancies between physical stock and system records. Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, or monthly inventory reports and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to present to management. Loss Mitigation: Identify obsolete inventory, track defective items, and develop protocols to reduce shrinkage, theft, or damage
