Job Title: NDT Level II Technician (UT - Ultrasonic Testing)

*Qualification*
Minimally Required
- Technical secondary school or above
- 4 year working experience in field of NDT
- Basic English
- NDT technician should be qualified to set up and calibrate equipment and interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards and specifications.
- NDT Level II should be thoroughly familiar with scope and limitations of the methods for which he is qualified.
- Able to organize and report NDT test results.
Preferred or Specialized
- NDT Science related
- Pipe Manufacturing industry
- English with Arabic and/or Chinese
- Sufficient practical background in applicable method plus other NDT methods
Specific Requirement
- Valid NDT LEVEL II certification in UT as per SNT-TC-1A or equivalent
- Active ASNT NDT LEVEL II or III in UT with other methods e.g. RT, UT, VT & PT
*Main Responsibility (including but not limited to)*
Individuals shall be responsible to set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
Follow established techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection while ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
Apply developed testing criteria according to applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
Prepare reports for test results.
Perform specialized inspections.
Exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of trainees and NDT Level I personnel.
Complete other temporary/permanent tasks required by supervisors.

NDT Technician has authority to make decisions and act on any matter regarding conformance & integrity of NDT position within area of responsibility.
