Key Responsibilities
Assist in supervising the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
Allocate daily work assignments to room attendants and public area attendants.
Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and hotel quality standards are maintained.
Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and performance.
Train new housekeeping employees on cleaning procedures and hotel standards.
Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and guest supplies.
Coordinate with the Front Office and Maintenance departments regarding room status and maintenance issues.
Maintain housekeeping inventory and report shortages of linen, guest amenities, and cleaning supplies.
Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Prepare daily housekeeping reports and assist with scheduling staff.
Qualifications and Experience
Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
Minimum of 2–3 years of housekeeping experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role, preferably in a hotel.
