Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Water Pump Installation and Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, testing and commissioning, maintaining, and repairing various types of water pumps and filtration systems (including residential, commercial, and agricultural systems). The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and excellent problem-solving abilities to ensure efficient water system operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Installation: Install, set up, and test new pumps (submersible, centrifugal, booster pumps, diaphragm/piston dosing pumps etc.), control panels, pressure tanks, and related piping systems.
• Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance on water pumping systems to ensure optimal efficiency and prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in pumps, motors, wiring, and control systems. Repair or replace defective parts swiftly.
• System Testing: Test water flow, pressure, and electrical currents using specialized tools to ensure systems meet operational standards.
• Customer Service: Explain technical issues and repair options clearly to clients, providing professional recommendations.
Requirements:
• Experience: Proven experience (2+ years preferred) as a water pump technician, electromechanical technician, or in a similar mechanical/electrical role.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of water pump mechanics, hydraulics, and plumbing systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring, control panels, and single/three-phase motors.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and circuit diagrams.
• Tools: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
