Job Title: Presales Engineer

Preferred Background
• Messaging, CPaaS, SMS gateway, telecom API, SaaS, or enterprise integration environment.
• Exposure to regulated clients such as banks, government entities, or large enterprises where documentation and compliance discussions.
• Familiarity with security reviews, hosting options, cloud environments, and operational readiness inputs.
Role Summary
Support the sales cycle as the technical owner for standard and mid-complexity opportunities.
The role is responsible for understanding customer requirements, running discovery, preparing demos and POCs, supporting RFPs/RFIs, validating solution feasibility with internal teams, and handing over complete technical documentation to PMO and Delivery team once a deal is won.
Key Responsibilities
• Support Account Managers / Sales in technical discovery meetings with prospects and existing clients, translating business requirements into clear technical requirements.
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand client environment, use case, integration points,SMS/Whatsapp sms traffic expectations, compliance constraints, and success criteria.
• Prepare and deliver tailored product demos, walkthroughs, and technical presentations for SMS, CPaaS, portals, dashboards, and related services.
• Build and manage POCs, test environments, and technical prototypes to validate feasibility before commercial commitment.
• Support RFP, RFI, security questionnaire, and technical bid responses with accurate solution details, assumptions, dependencies, and limitations.
• Produce solution documents covering architecture, integrations, APIs, dependencies, implementation assumptions, and known risks.
• Validate solution feasibility with Delivery & Engineering, Infra & Cloud Ops, and Security & Compliance before promises are made to the client.
• Coordinate with Sender ID, Support, and Client Success functions where onboarding or operational dependencies exist, so the proposed solution is realistic from day one.
• Prepare a structured technical handover pack for PMO / Project Coordinator once the opportunity is closed, including scope, client contacts, requirements, timelines, risks, and open items.
• Keep demo environments, standard presentation decks, API references, and reusable proposal material updated for repeated use.
• Support internal enablement for Sales and related teams on new features, limitations, competitive positioning, and standard solution patterns.
Required Experience & Skills
• 2–5 years in presales, solutions engineering, sales engineering, or implementation engineering for B2B technology products.
• Strong understanding of API-based platforms, integration workflows, web services, authentication methods, and enterprise technical discussions.
• Experience delivering demos, POCs, and solution presentations to enterprise clients.
• Ability to read technical requirements and turn them into architecture or solution documentation that internal teams can execute.employment.
• Experience supporting RFP/RFI responses and technical questionnaires.
• Good understanding of implementation constraints, handoff discipline, and cross-functional coordination between Sales, Delivery, Support, and Client Success.
• Professional fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
