PROJECT MANAGER – STEEL STRUCTURE BUILDINGS

Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager with a minimum of 8 years of proven experience in managing steel structure building projects in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate must have a strong background in planning, execution, cost control, client management, and project delivery from award through final handover.
This role requires a strong personality, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams with confidence and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage steel structure building projects from initiation to successful completion.
Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Prepare, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
Develop recovery plans whenever project delays occur.
Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, logistics, construction, and commissioning activities.
Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved.
Conduct regular meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and consultants.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and executive presentations.
Control project costs, budgets, cash flow, and profitability.
Monitor productivity and implement corrective actions when required.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Manage project resources including manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
Review shop drawings, technical submittals, method statements, and project documentation.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, Saudi Building Code, quality standards, and HSE regulations.
Manage project variations, contractual claims, and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
Resolve technical, commercial, and contractual issues professionally.
Lead inspections, testing, commissioning, and final project handover.
Drive continuous improvement in project execution and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of relevant Project Management experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC.
Proven experience in successfully completing steel structure building projects, including warehouses, factories, industrial facilities, workshops, hangars, or commercial steel buildings.
Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection.
Experience working directly with Saudi clients, consultants, and contractors.

Mandatory Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
Minimum 8 years of Project Management experience.
Proven track record of successfully completing steel structure building projects in Saudi Arabia.
Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and project planning.
Excellent knowledge of project scheduling, cost control, budgeting, and resource management.
Strong experience managing client and consultant relationships.
Experience leading multidisciplinary construction teams.
Ability to prepare project reports and executive presentations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong contractual awareness (FIDIC knowledge is an advantage).
Valid Saudi driving license is preferred.
Willing to work anywhere within Saudi Arabia.
