PLANNING & COST CONTROL ENGINEER

We need 5 to 6 years of experience in the petrochemical plant field, with extensive experience as a PLANNING & COST CONTROL ENGINEER. The following candidate should possess the following requirements.

Core Responsibilities

Planning & Scheduling:

Develop Schedules: Build detailed baseline schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, mapping Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and dependencies.

Progress Tracking: Monitor, update, and report on daily/weekly/monthly project progress against the baseline.Critical Path Analysis: Identify bottlenecks, delays, and critical tasks, and create recovery schedules when necessary.Cost Control & Budgeting:

Budget Management: Prepare and maintain project budgets and cost forecasts.Variance Analysis: Compare actual costs to the budget, identify discrepancies, and propose corrective actions.Cash Flow & EVM:

Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques and support cash flow forecasting with the finance team. Change Management:

Review contract variations, manage change orders, and support claims preparation (e.g., Extension of Time - EOT).
