The Facility Technician (Mechanical) is responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of all mechanical systems, equipment, and infrastructure at the Jeddah Bonded Zone facility to ensure uninterrupted warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out preventive maintenance schedules for all mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults in forklifts, conveyors, dock levelers, and HVAC systems.
• Respond promptly to breakdown calls and minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and spare parts inventory.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance works.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and safety checks.
• Ensure compliance with local safety and equipment regulations.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of facility or industrial maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience with forklifts, HVAC, and warehouse equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
• Good English communication skills.
