In my current role as Senior Accountant at Al Wisam School in Budaiya, I established the school’s entire accounting function from the ground up — designing the chart of accounts and migrating all legacy records into QuickBooks to create an accurate, transparent, and audit-ready financial system. Day to day, I manage financial reporting, daily cash flow, annual budgeting with monthly variance analysis, and end-to-end payroll, while preparing and filing VAT returns in full compliance with Bahrain’s NBR regulations. I also lead both internal and external audits and act as the primary point of contact for banks, vendors, and customers.
These responsibilities build on a solid foundation from earlier roles, where I handled financial modelling, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, landed-cost calculations, rent-roll management, fixed-asset and depreciation schedules, and corporate tax filings. I am proficient in Tally ERP 9, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Dynamics 365, and I pride myself on combining accuracy and regulatory compliance with clear, decision-ready reporting for management.
