This long‑term role offers high‑visibility exposure to static equipment inspection, multi‑disciplinary coordination, and compliance with stringent operator standards.
👤 Position: Inspection Engineer
📍 Location: Bahrain
🧭 Engagement: Long‑term assignment with continuous coordination between Company & Contractor
🏗️ Sector: Oil, Gas & Steam Facilities (Asset Integrity / Inspection)
🎓 Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Mandatory Certifications:
API 510 – Authorized Pressure Vessel Inspector
API 570 – Authorized Piping Inspector
API 653 – Authorized Storage Tank Inspector
CSWIP 3.1 / CSWIP 3.2 / AWS‑CWI
💼 Experience
Minimum 10 years of hands‑on inspection experience covering:
Pressure Vessels Piping Storage Tanks Pipelines
Strong background in Oil, Gas & Steam facilities
Experience in Company–Contractor coordination preferred
📝 Roles & Responsibilities
Inspect Pressure Vessels, Piping, Tanks, Pipelines across Tatweer Petroleum assets in the Bahrain Field
Liaise with Asset Integrity Engineer for inspection and reporting requirements
Ensure compliance with operator specifications, codes & standards
Act as Project Coordinator between Company & Contractor
Support Asset Integrity, QA/QC, and inspection documentation
Interface with engineering, operations, and safety teams
🧠 Training & Other Requirements
Fluent in English (read, write, speak)
Proficient in MS Office for inspection reporting
Valid Bahraini Driving License
Must pass Company’s Permit‑to‑Work Certification for the appropriate category
Preference for candidates currently residing in Bahrain
