The Mixer Driver is responsible for safely operating a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to various job sites. This role involves loading, transporting, and unloading concrete while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The driver must maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic inspections and maintenance, complying with all transportation and safety regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Safely operate mixer truck to transport and deliver concrete to job sites.
• Ensure timely delivery of concrete in accordance with dispatch instructions.
• Monitor mixing, loading, and unloading to maintain product quality.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness of the mixer truck inside and out.
• Report mechanical problems and safety issues promptly.
• Complete delivery tickets and required documentation accurately.
• Comply with traffic laws, company safety policies, and transportation regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, batch plant, and site personnel.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers on-site.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Valid Heavy Truck Driving License.
• Proven experience in driving heavy transport trucks; experience with Concrete Mixer is preferred.
• Ability to work in the field, withstand work pressure, and travel between different operational working sites.
