ACCOUNTANT
Key Responsibilities
General Accounting
• Record daily accounting transactions (Data Entry)
Accounts Receivable
• Reconcile customer balances.
• Follow up on overdue accounts.
Banking and Reconciliations
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile credit card transactions.
• Reconcile cash collections from branches.
Accounts Payable
• Verify supplier invoices.
• Reconcile supplier statements.
Tax and Compliance
• Oversee VAT compliance and filings.
• Coordinate external audits.
• Ensure compliance with Bahrain regulations and company policies.
Inventory Accounting
• Reconcile inventory movements.
• Verify stock adjustments.
• Monitor inventory costing.
• Support stock counts and warehouse audits.
KPIs
• Timely data Entry
• Bank reconciliations completed by the 5th working day.
• Zero unreconciled material balances.
• Monthly closing support completed on time.
• Supplier and customer reconciliations completed monthly.
• Inventory reconciliation accuracy above 99%.
Reporting Line
Reports directly to the Finance Manager.
Expected Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with Zoho systems.
• Experience in retail and inventory accounting preferred.
