Issue receipts, invoices, refunds, or change accurately.
Operate the cash register or Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently.
Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
Maintain accurate records of all cash and card transactions.
Ensure all transactions are processed correctly and in accordance with company policies.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting with their inquiries.
Resolve customer payment issues or escalate them to the supervisor when necessary.
Keep the cashier counter clean, organized, and secure.
Verify the authenticity of cash and report any counterfeit currency.
Follow company policies regarding cash handling and security procedures.
Assist with daily sales reports and cash reconciliation.
Coordinate with the accounts and finance department when required.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
