Job Summary

The Security Systems Supervisor is responsible for supervising the installation, operation, maintenance, and performance of all electronic security systems within the organization. This includes CCTV, access control, intrusion alarm systems, fire alarm interfaces, and other integrated security technologies. The role ensures system reliability, compliance with company standards, and effective coordination with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise the daily operation and maintenance of all electronic security systems.
Monitor the performance and availability of CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and related security systems.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with internal teams and external service providers.
Troubleshoot and resolve system faults to minimize downtime.
Ensure security systems are operating in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Manage user access permissions and system configurations.
Conduct routine inspections, testing, and performance evaluations of security equipment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, incidents, system upgrades, and service reports.
Support the planning, installation, and commissioning of new security systems and technology upgrades.
Train security personnel on the proper use of security systems and equipment.
Coordinate with IT, facilities, and security departments to ensure seamless system integration.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Prepare technical reports, maintenance schedules, and performance metrics.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and cybersecurity requirements related to security systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in electrical engineering, electronics, information technology, security systems, or a related field.
Professional certifications in security systems are an advantage (e.g., CCTV, Access Control, Lenel, Genetec, Honeywell, Bosch, or equivalent).
Valid certifications related to low-current systems are preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronic security systems.
At least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
Experience with integrated security management systems in industrial, commercial, or corporate environments.
