Must have experience in installation, maintenance and repair of chilled water and direct expansion HVAC and refrigeration equipment. Shall be able to read and understand equipment diagrams and maintenance manuals, knowledge of international HVAC codes and standards. Must have a good experience in AC ductwork installation, preventive maintenance (PM) of HVAC and refrigeration equipment, electrical and mechanical trouble shooting, welding and brazing of gas lines, and recharging refrigerant. Must also have knowledge of complex automated refrigeration equipment, including blood bank refrigeration in hospital facilities, as well as ice machines, walk-in chillers, retail display chillers, and water coolers. Shall have a good knowledge of air distribution balancing in system ductwork, including fixed and variable volume dampers, together with digital temperature and environmental instrumentation controls and other associated devices.
