Review material requisition (MR) submittals to ensure the correctness of classification, approved vendors/manufacturers, compliance with international codes, company standards, and the Contract Schedule Q, and review Purchase Orders to ensure alignment with approved PRS.
Review inspection & test plans (ITP) corresponding to applicable SA-175 Forms.
Responsible for overseeing vendor inspections, in-process inspections, factory acceptance tests, and final inspections before the release and delivery of equipment and materials procured for the project. Additionally, manage all associated quality control activities and documentation.
Collaborate with approved third-party agencies for inspection activities, including factory acceptance tests, in-process inspections and final inspections before release.
Ensure the availability of all required quality documents and records for procurement for the project quality index, as per Schedule Q deliverables.
Identify non-conformances within the project scope of work and ensure that discrepancies are promptly addressed and rectified.
Initiate and apply the requirements specified in Saudi Aramco standards.
Conduct vendor inspections and surveillance as necessary, in line with project requirements.
Engage extensively with the Saudi Aramco Project Management Team, Saudi Aramco Vendor Inspection Division, and Saudi Aramco Project Inspection Division for project material inspection activities.
Monitor request for inspection (RFI) for PIM, In-Process, and Final Inspection inspections and adhere to material surveillance requirements of SAPID/SAPMT after material receiving inspection activities.
Involve extensive interaction with subcontractors to address and resolve project material and documentation issues and non-conformances.
Perform quality documentation tasks under the project quality plan.
