China Railway is looking for a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor (Civil & Architecture) to join our team for prestigious construction projects.

Quantity Surveyor (Civil & Architecture)
Nationality: Sri Lankan Nationals Only

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
Mandatory experience in high-rise building projects.
Mandatory experience in 4-star and 5-star hotel construction projects.
Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimation, contract administration, and project cost control.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and quantity surveying software.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

⚠️ Important:
Candidates without proven experience in high-rise buildings and 4-star/5-star hotel projects will NOT be considered.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
Develop and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for civil and architectural works.
Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and assist in procurement.
Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports throughout the project lifecycle.
Measure work completed and certify subcontractor payment applications.
Manage contract variations, claims, and change orders.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors on cost-related matters.
Ensure all quantity surveying activities comply with project specifications, contractual requirements, and company standards.
Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality and project timelines.
