Supply is scheduled within 24 months from purchase order or letter of intent, followed by nine months of erection, testing and commissioning supervision.
The procurement is based on a pre-bid memorandum of understanding rather than an immediate purchase contract. The MOU converts into a supply agreement only if BHEL receives POWERGRID’s award.
