Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer

The Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, reliability, and performance of electrical systems and equipment. This role involves leading a team of maintenance technicians, planning preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring safety compliance, and optimizing system efficiency to minimize downtime

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

 Lead and supervise all electrical maintenance activities.
 Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance works.
 Ensure timely troubleshooting and resolution of electrical faults and breakdowns.
 Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
 Manage maintenance teams and allocate resources efficiently.
 Coordinate maintenance activities with the Client.
 Ensure compliance with PTW, LOTO, and HSE requirements.
 Supervise maintenance of 480V SWGR, MCC, ATS, CBD, VFD, and RRD systems.
 Support troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
 Prepare all maintenance reports and technical documentation.
 Ensure quality of maintenance activities and compliance with project procedures.
 Lead emergency maintenance response and equipment restoration.
 Monitor maintenance KPIs and equipment performance.
 Supervise and mentor electrical maintenance technicians and engineers.
 Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure quality and timely completion.
 Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement



Qualifications/Skills

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience
8 –12+ years of experience in electrical maintenance.
Minimum 3–4 years in a supervisory/lead role

Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of:
 Electrical systems (LV/MV/HV)
 Motors, drives (VFDs), transformers
 PLCs, control systems, and SCADA
 Experience with troubleshooting and diagnostics tools
