The essential responsibilities include:
Staff Management: Create work schedules, train new hires, and assign daily floor duties.
Customer Service: Oversee the dining room to ensure quality control, step in to assist during busy periods, and professionally resolve customer issues.
Inventory Control: Monitor food and supply levels, conduct regular stock checks, and assist with ordering.
Health & Safety: Enforce strict hygiene, sanitation, and food handling standards to pass all health regulations.
Administrative Support: Process payments on the point-of-sale (POS) system, balance daily cash drawers, and generate reports for the restaurant manager.
