**China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC Arabia)** is seeking an experienced **Planning Engineer** to join our prestigious **Arena Block Project** in **Diriyah, Riyadh**, one of Saudi Arabia's flagship giga-projects under Vision 2030.
This role is ideal for professionals with proven experience in **large-scale mixed-use developments, high-rise buildings, stadium/arena projects, and complex MEP construction works**. Immediate mobilization is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, update, and monitor detailed project schedules using **Primavera P6**.
* Prepare baseline programmes, recovery plans, look-ahead schedules, and progress reports.
* Coordinate planning activities across Civil, Structural, Architectural, and **MEP disciplines**.
* Monitor project progress, identify delays, critical path impacts, and recommend mitigation measures.
* Work closely with Construction, Engineering, Commercial, Procurement, Design, and Project Controls teams.
* Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for project management, Client, and PMC.
* Support extension of time (EOT), delay analysis, and project performance reporting.
## Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* Minimum **8-12 years** of planning experience on **high-rise, mixed-use, stadium, arena, or large commercial building projects**.
* Strong experience with **laminate/high-rise tower developments** and complex construction sequencing.
* Proven planning experience for **MEP works**, including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, BMS, Vertical Transportation, testing & commissioning, and fit-out activities.
* Advanced proficiency in **Primavera P6**, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong understanding of project controls, earned value management, critical path analysis, and reporting.
* Experience working with international contractors and major clients/PMC is preferred.
* Excellent English communication skills.
