Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Civil Architect to design, plan, and oversee the construction of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong architectural design skills, knowledge of building regulations, and the ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare architectural concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings using CAD/BIM software.
Develop project plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models.
Ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil engineers during project planning and execution.
Review project specifications, BOQs, and construction documents.
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to approved drawings.
Resolve design-related issues during construction.
Prepare project presentations and communicate design concepts to clients.
Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and material approvals.
Assist in project budgeting, scheduling, and cost optimization.
Maintain project documentation and prepare progress reports.
Stay updated with industry trends, sustainable design practices, and construction technologies.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized university.
Valid registration with the relevant architectural council (if applicable).
3–8 years of experience in architectural design and construction projects.
Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Working knowledge of Revit/BIM.
Experience with SketchUp, Lumion, or 3D visualization software.
Familiarity with MS Office and project management tools.
Understanding of building materials, construction methods, and estimation.
Knowledge of National Building Code (NBC), local development regulations, and safety standards.
