You will bridge the gap between architectural structure and aesthetic functionality, ensuring a seamless visual flow from the exterior of a building to its interior spaces. The ideal candidate has strong spatial awareness, proficiency in 3D modeling software, and a deep understanding of materials, textures, and structural design.
Key Responsibilities
1. Exterior Design & Facade Concept
Develop cohesive design concepts for building exteriors, including facades, cladding, entryways, and outdoor living spaces.
Select appropriate exterior materials, finishes, color palettes, and lighting that complement the architectural style and withstand environmental conditions.
Plan structural integration for outdoor elements like balconies, patios, terraces, and basic landscape layouts.
2. Interior Space Planning & Design
Create functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing interior layouts, including spatial arrangements, lighting plans, and furniture placement.
Curate interior finish schedules, including flooring, wall treatments, custom cabinetry, lighting fixtures, and loose furniture.
Ensure interior themes align perfectly with the exterior architectural narrative for a unified design language.
3. Technical Drawings & 3D Visualization
Produce highly accurate 2D floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD.
Generate realistic 3D renderings and walkthroughs (using SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or Lumion) to present concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Prepare comprehensive material boards and specifications sheets.
4. Client Collaboration & Project Management
Meet with clients to identify their needs, budget constraints, preferences, and project scope.
Coordinate closely with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure design feasibility and structural integrity.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with design specifications, and resolve any design issues that arise during construction.
Stay up-to-date with local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
