We are looking for a powerhouse Technical Manager who is a rare hybrid: a brilliant hands-on technical expert who can command a workshop and a strategic leader who understands how to drive commercial growth and technical sales.
If you can diagnose a complex chiller issue in your sleep but also know how to close a maintenance contract with a B2B client, we want you on our team.
What You’ll Do
Lead the Technical Crew: Oversee, mentor, and schedule our team of HVAC technicians and engineers. Ensure all maintenance, repair, and installation work meets top-tier quality and safety standards.
Master the Machinery: Act as the ultimate escalation point for complex technical troubleshooting on large-scale Chillers, Packaged Units, and VRF/Central AC systems.
Drive Sales & Estimations: Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during client pitches. Design technical proposals, estimate job costs, and help close lucrative maintenance (AMC) and equipment sales contracts.
Client & Contract Management: Build rock-solid relationships with commercial and industrial clients. Ensure SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met flawlessly.
Inventory & Quality Control: Manage spare parts inventory, source high-quality components, and implement rigorous QA/QC protocols.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (equivalent field experience heavily weighed).
The Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years in the HVAC/R industry, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role specifically dealing with Chillers and Packaged Units.
The Know-How: Deep knowledge of compressor overhauls, electrical control panels, PLC troubleshooting, and refrigerant management.
The Sales Acumen: Proven experience in technical sales support, budgeting, and estimating commercial HVAC projects.
The Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership skills, a calm-under-pressure demeanor, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical clients.
