Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical QC Inspector for building construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical installation works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.
Key Responsibilities:
*Inspect HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, and water supply system installations.
*Ensure all mechanical works comply with approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
*Conduct inspections for ducting, piping, equipment installation, pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning activities.
*Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, and quality documentation.
*Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and site engineers.
*Identify non-conforming work, issue inspection reports, and monitor corrective actions.
*Verify materials delivered to the site comply with approved material submittals.
*Ensure all installations meet local authority requirements and international quality standards.
*Participate in final inspections, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
Required Qualifications
*Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
*Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Mechanical QC Inspector in building construction projects.
*Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems.
*Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
*Good communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
*Experience with high-rise buildings, commercial, residential, or hospital projects is preferred
Preferred Certifications
* ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification (preferred)
* Saudi Aramco, SABIC, or Royal Commission project experience is an added advantage.
