Job Description
• Supervise the accounting operations and ensure adherence to company/country laws.
• Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
• Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information.
• Balances and reconciles accounts; adjusts and corrects daily journal entries.
• Audits expenditures, ensuring compliance with the accounting procedures of the organization
• Analyzes financial reports in relation to budget and communicate variance of budget.
• Oversees the daily workflow of the accounting department.
• Implement best practices as in company finance policy to enhance operational performance and productivity.
• Address accounting issues and inquiries from internal and external parties.
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Manage the fixed asset system for calculating additions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Manage in AR and AP Operations.
• Any other tasks that may be assigned by the direct manager, that is within the scope of company work.
• Adhere to company policies and guidelines and all country level regulation.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a
supervisory role
• Thorough knowledge of IFRS
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an
organization
• Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
• Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management
techniques
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems.
