The Warehouse & Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics activities to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating transportation, and supporting operational efficiency while complying with company policies and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and shipments.
Organize and maintain warehouse storage to maximize space utilization.
Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock counts and reconciliations.
Ensure accurate inventory transactions within the ERP/WMS system.
Coordinate the dispatch, delivery, and transportation of goods.
Prepare shipping documents, delivery notes, and related logistics documentation.
Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transportation providers.
Track shipments and resolve delivery issues promptly.
Monitor warehouse KPIs, including inventory accuracy and order fulfillment.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company procedures.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Support procurement and operations by ensuring timely material availability.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of warehouse and logistics records.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency.
Perform other duties assigned by the Warehouse or Logistics Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations.
Experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
Valid forklift certification is an advantage (where applicable).
