Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Purchaser with a minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience in the construction industry.
Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia, particularly in Dammam, Al Khobar, and nearby areas.
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Purchaser or Procurement Officer in a construction company.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and supplier networks.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Good analytical and organizational skills.
• Valid Saudi driving license is preferred.
• Transferable Iqama is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Source and purchase construction materials, tools, equipment, and services required for projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and warehouse personnel regarding material requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with approved suppliers and identify alternative sources when required.
• Ensure purchased materials comply with project specifications and company standards.
• Monitor market trends and pricing to achieve cost savings and improve procurement efficiency.
Preferred Skills
• Strong knowledge of local construction suppliers and vendors in Saudi Arabia.
• Excellent negotiation and cost-control abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
