PURCHASING OFFICER (PROCUREMENT/LOGISTICS)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Officer to manage the procurement of materials, supplies, and services required by the company. The ideal candidate will ensure timely purchasing, negotiate with suppliers, maintain inventory levels, and obtain the best value while meeting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
● Source and evaluate suppliers and obtain quotations.
● Prepare and process purchase orders.
● Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers.
● Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing requirements with various departments.
● Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.
● Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier databases.
● Resolve issues related to deliveries, shortages, or defective items.
● Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
● Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers.

Requirements:

● Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement (preferred).
● Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or a related field.
● Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
● Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
