Key Responsibilities
Administer and optimize Linux (Ubuntu) production environments.
Manage Nginx, Redis, Supervisor/Gunicorn, and Python application environments.
Administer MariaDB/MySQL databases, performance tuning, and security.
Implement configuration management, change control, and system documentation.
Manage automated backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
Maintain server security, firewalls, SSH, SSL certificates, and access controls.
Monitor system performance, uptime, and produce regular health reports.
Manage structured IT support processes and SLA compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on Linux/Unix System Administration experience.
Strong expertise in:
Ubuntu/Linux Administration
Nginx
MariaDB/MySQL
Python deployment environments
Git
Server Security & Hardening
Backup & Disaster Recovery
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Willingness to provide on-call support for critical infrastructure when required.
Preferred Candidate
Strong operational mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience managing enterprise production environments.
Able to work independently and maintain high system availability.
