SKILLS & ABILITEIES:
Good knowledge of safety standards, Risk assessment, and control measures.
Ability to implement safety management systems, conduct audits, and ensure
compliance with procedures. Strong communication and leadership to enforce safety
culture. Skilled in incident investigation, hazard identification, and reporting.
Focus on continuous improvement, emergency response, and maintaining safety .
Conduct inspections, toolbox talks, and incident investigations while ensuring a safe
work environment.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• HSE Induction, Training and on Job Training
• Check and inspection of hand and power tools, Mechanical tools etc. used
by the workers at the job.
• Sight to avoid any untoward accident happen while performing or
commencing their job.
• Monitor the scaffolding installed at job site to ensure that the workers comply
and follow the standard and procedures.
• Daily monitor the workers to ensure that they are complying with the
safety rules and regulations.
• Conducting / identifying hazard to the workers.
• Taking corrective action for unsafe practices.
• Fire prevention precautions.
• Inspecting the signs and barricades for hazardous areas.
• Coverage of all critical activities including lifting and hot work.
• Implementation and enforcement of work permit system.
• Conducting of equipment inspection.
• Spread the safety boards.
• Conduct safety Toolbox meetings.
• Monitor activities such as hot work, Welding, Excavation, Unsafe Acts
and House Keeping.
• Carried out safety inspection on construction sites.
• Maintain safety logbook.
• Monitor permit to work procedure.
• Daily safety inspection of the work area.
• Implementing and maintaining all applicable procedures.
• Attending toolbox meeting of sub-contractors to assure that they are
discussing safety procedure.
• Ensure that sub-contractors follow the client’s PTW procedure and inspect
them on daily basis.
• Inspection of scaffolds, ladders, trenches and excavations to ensure
safe execution. Inspection of workers and equipment’s in the job site
to ensure proper safety procedure as per client’s satisfaction.
• Coordination with the client’s safety department regarding safety
procedures in job site.
• Discussing the latest mistakes made by the workers and giving them
awareness to avoid accidents and near misses.
• Writing daily observation Papers and submitting them to the office.
• Identification of Hazards and not them on daily HIP papers and submitting
them to the office.
