Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Head Chef with an authentic Thai background or deep expertise in Thai cuisine to lead our kitchen operations. You will be responsible for creating authentic dishes, managing food costs, and leading the kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
Authentic Thai Cooking: Manage the hot kitchen, wok stations, and curries, ensuring true Thai flavor profiles (sweet, sour, salty, spicy).
Kitchen Management: Handle menu engineering, food costing, inventory control, and supplier ordering.
Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure consistency and speed during peak hours.
Food Safety: Maintain strict cleanliness, hygiene, and local Bahrain municipality sanitation standards.
Requirements
Experience: 3+ years as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef specializing in Thai cuisine.
Background: Deep knowledge of traditional Thai ingredients, pastes, and techniques.
Language: Good conversational English.
Visa Status: Strictly Local Transfer. Must currently reside in Bahrain with a fully transferable LMRA visa status.
