I, Gulcen (along with Axel); some time ago, we established a small permaculture site focused on self-sufficiency. We have since rescued battery hens from harrowing conditions, taken in two feral cats that arrived as orphaned kittens, and rescued a dog from the streets; they all live here under our care. We gave the hens a second chance to spend their final years—hopefully happy and peaceful—amidst this beautiful natural setting. Sometimes we need to go away—for reasons such as visiting family abroad or taking a vacation—and we find ourselves short of a helping hand. So, if you love nature and tranquility, and wish to retreat to or become one with this oasis of peace and beauty, you are welcome to stay here in exchange for looking after the place and caring for the animals while we are away. It is essentially a laid-back way to spend your time, yet it offers great rewards.
