Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly master production schedules based on demand forecasts, sales orders, and equipment capacity.
Material Planning: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and work-in-progress (WIP). Coordinate with procurement to ensure the timely delivery of rubber compounds and chemical additives to prevent production shortages.
Capacity & Resource Allocation: Analyze plant capacity and assign shifts, labor, and machine availability (e.g., mixing mills, curing presses, extruders) to optimize overall equipment effectiveness.
Quality & Compliance Collaboration: Work alongside the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams to ensure manufactured rubber products adhere to strict industry specifications.
Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the production line, recommend cost-reduction strategies, and support lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce scrap and waste.
Reporting: Compile and submit regular production performance and status reports to senior management
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 2–5+ years of production planning or scheduling experience within a manufacturing or continuous flow environment (custom molding or extrusion experience is highly advantageous).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
Strong data analysis skills using MS Excel.Certifications: Certifications like APICS (CPIM) or lean manufacturing accreditation are strongly preferred
