​Position Summary
​We are seeking energetic, disciplined, and passionate entry-level Commis Chefs to join our 5-star culinary team for the upcoming high season. As a Commis Chef on a temporary rental/casual basis, you will support our Chef de Partie (Station Chefs) across various kitchen sections (such as Main Kitchen, Sauté, Prep, or Banquet).
​This is a fast-paced role ideal for culinary graduates or junior cooks looking to gain premium, high-volume luxury hotel experience in Saudi Arabia without changing their primary corporate sponsor.
​Key Responsibilities
​Mise en Place & Prep: Execute daily food preparation tasks including washing, peeling, chopping, portioning, and weighing raw ingredients according to 5-star standard recipes.

​Station Support: Assist senior chefs on the hot or cold line during high-volume breakfast, lunch, or dinner services.
​HACCP & Hygiene Compliance: Maintain flawless cleanliness at your assigned workstation. Strictly follow food rotation (FIFO), temperature logging, labeling, and sanitation standards.
​Kitchen Operations: Set up and break down culinary stations before and after service shifts. Maintain proper care and safety when operating commercial kitchen equipment.
​Ad-Hoc Duties: Assist with receiving and safely storing kitchen stock and provisions in cold rooms and dry stores.
​Requirements & Qualifications
​Experience: Entry-level to 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, or catering environment. Fresh culinary school graduates with internship experience in high-volume kitchens are highly encouraged to apply.
​Technical Skills: Fundamental knife skills, basic understanding of cooking methods (boiling, grilling, roasting), and familiarity with food safety rules.
​Language: Clear verbal English communication skills are mandatory to follow quick instructions on a loud line.
​Attributes: High energy, stamina to stand for long shifts, a strong work ethic, and a clean, groomed professional appearance.
​Legal & Contractual Terms (Strictly Enforced)

⚠️ Sponsorship Note: This role is available exclusively on a rental, hourly, or monthly lease basis. The hotel will not process Iqama transfers, local transfers, or change of sponsorship.
​Iqama Status: Candidates holding a valid, transferable Iqama under a licensed manpower company or supplier registered on the Saudi Qiwa / Ajeer portal will be preferred.
​Alternative Document Status: Candidates with other valid Iqama or visa statuses who are legally authorized to work on a temporary rental basis are also welcome to apply.
​Duration: Casual/Seasonal contract (typically 3 to 6 months, with the potential for extension based on hotel occupancy and seasonal demands).
