A growing electromechanical / MEP contracting company in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia is hiring an experienced Project Engineer / Site Engineer.

The candidate will be responsible for managing and executing site works, coordinating manpower, subcontractors, technical office, procurement, consultant, client, main contractor, and project management, while ensuring that all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, safety requirements, schedule, and project scope.
This role is suitable for a practical site engineer who understands MEP execution, site coordination, material requests, subcontractor follow-up, daily reports, weekly reports, inspections, quantity tracking, payment application support, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities
• Receive and study project documents including drawings, BOQ, pricing file, specifications, scope of work, and project requirements.
• Visit the site and compare drawings and BOQ with actual site conditions.
• Identify site constraints, conflicts, missing information, and execution risks.
• Prepare a practical execution plan suitable for site conditions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly work plans in coordination with project management.
• Arrange required manpower, company workers, tools, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with management for subcontractor requirements, scope, quantities, and work execution.
• Supervise site works and ensure execution according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with client, consultant, or main contractor for starting works, inspections, approvals, and site requirements.
• Prepare material requests and coordinate with procurement and technical office.
• Ensure proper site storage and material protection.
• Receive materials at site using material receiving forms and report discrepancies to procurement.
• Verify that delivered materials match approvals, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor workmanship, quality, safety, productivity, and site organization.
• Prepare daily and weekly site reports.
• Track manpower attendance and subcontractor performance.
• Prepare or support subcontractor payment applications based on actual approved progress.
• Prepare or support client / owner payment applications.
• Track executed works, inspected works, approved works, pending inspections, extra works, and site instructions.
• Document changes, delays, constraints, and verbal instructions affecting time or cost.
• Support project close-out, handover, and as-built information when required.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electromechanical Engineering, depending on project scope.
• Previous experience as Project Engineer / Site Engineer in MEP or electromechanical contracting projects.
• Good understanding of Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Infrastructure, or integrated MEP works.
• Ability to read drawings, BOQ, specifications, and site details.
• Ability to manage workers, subcontractors, materials, and daily site activities.
• Ability to prepare daily reports, weekly reports, material requests, receiving reports, and site records.
• Good understanding of inspections, approvals, quality, safety, and site documentation.
• Ability to support quantity take-off, subcontractor payment review, and client payment applications.
• Strong coordination skills with client, consultant, main contractor, technical office, procurement, and project management.
• Good computer skills and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Organized, accurate, practical, professional, and able to work under pressure.


Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate must be a practical site engineer, not only a supervisor. He must understand execution, site planning, materials, manpower, subcontractors, documentation, inspections, payment support, and company rights protection.
The candidate must be honest in reporting actual site progress, able to identify problems early, and capable of coordinating with all project parties professionally.
