Purpose of the Job:
The Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate project
cost estimates and developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for
industrial maintenance, shutdown, and turnaround projects in the oil & gas and
petrochemical sectors. The role supports tendering, budgeting, and execution by
integrating estimation data with project planning to ensure timely, cost-effective, and
compliant project delivery.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in planning and estimation within
industrial services, maintenance, shutdown, and oil & gas sectors.
Skills & Competencies:
Hands-on experience in SABIC / ARAMCO projects, including shutdowns, chemical
cleaning, hydro jetting, and mechanical maintenance.
Strong understanding of maintenance, and turnaround scopes.
Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Excel, and estimation / ERP systems.
Familiar with international standards and industrial safety practices in oil & gas.
Middle East experience, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Good communication and coordination skills with multi-disciplinary teams.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, especially during
shutdowns.
Familiarity with P&ID, isometric drawings, and plant maintenance processes.
