China Railway 18 Bureau is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (Civil & Architecture) to join our project team. We are looking for professionals with extensive experience in high-rise building construction and 4- or 5-star hotel projects.
Mandatory Requirements
Minimum 10+ years of professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
At least 80% of total career experience must be in high-rise building projects.
Proven experience in 4- or 5-star hotel construction projects is mandatory.
Strong experience in Civil & Architectural works.
Excellent knowledge of quantity take-off, cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration, and commercial management.
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying software.
Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Important:
Candidates who do not have the required high-rise building and 4/5-star hotel experience will not be considered. Please do not submit your CV if you do not meet these mandatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and project cost reports.
Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison statements.
Manage subcontractor payments, variations, and final accounts.
Monitor project costs and ensure budget control throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and evaluate variation orders, claims, and change orders.
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, designers, and site teams.
Review drawings and specifications for quantity and cost implications.
Support procurement by preparing material quantity requirements and cost analyses.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and commercial procedures.
Prepare monthly valuation reports, progress payment applications, and commercial documentation.
