Position: Site Surveyor
Experience: 1 year or less acceptable
1) Carry out site surveying and establish control points (benchmarks, grid points).
Perform setting-out for structures/works based on approved drawings.
Verify levels, alignments, offsets, and coordinates for foundations, columns, beams, and other structural elements.
Ensure layout marking is clear, traceable, and maintained throughout construction.
2) Maintain and check survey instruments (total station, GPS, levels, laser, GNSS) including calibration status.
Perform re-surveys when needed and confirm accuracy against tolerance limits.
Maintain survey records, field books/logs, point data, and measurement sheets.
3) Checking & Verification During Construction
Verify completed works against drawings, including:
foundation excavation levels
anchor bolt locations and templates
column base plates alignment
beam/steel erection alignment and elevations
Report discrepancies promptly and support corrective actions.
4) Coordination with Other Teams
Prepare and provide survey reports and as-built survey data upon request.
Assist engineers with interpretation of layout requirements and survey tolerances.
5) As-Built / Record Survey
Collect survey data for as-built drawings (as per project requirements).
Provide coordinates/levels of key elements (foundation, column positions, elevations, embedded items).
6) Reporting & Documentation
Submit daily/weekly survey reports including:
survey progress
achieved points/coordinates
checks performed
issues and corrective actions
Maintain proper documentation for audit/quality needs.
