Contracting Company is looking for an experienced Bidding Engineer – Civil & Mechanical to join our team in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review technical and commercial bids for civil and mechanical projects.
Study tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and scope of work.
Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
Obtain and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations.
Prepare bid comparisons, pricing sheets, and tender submissions.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate pricing.
Identify project risks, exclusions, assumptions, and commercial requirements.
Support preparation of technical proposals, method statements, and tender clarifications.
Ensure all tender submissions are complete and submitted within deadlines.
Maintain proper records of tender documents, quotations, and bid history.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Experience in tendering, estimation, bidding, or quantity surveying.
Strong knowledge of civil and mechanical construction works.
Ability to read drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents.
Good knowledge of Excel and estimation/pricing tools.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Experience in Saudi Arabia/GCC construction projects is preferred.
