Road Construction Technician

We are seeking an experienced Road Construction Technician to oversee earthwork and road construction activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in bulk earthworks, subgrade and base course preparation, embankment construction, slope grading, and road formation. The candidate will coordinate with surveyors and site engineers to ensure work is completed according to project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

Requirements:

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in earthworks and road construction.
Strong knowledge of cut & fill, embankments, subgrade, sub-base, and base course works.
Experience in slope grading, shoulder formation, and drainage works.
Ability to interpret drawings and coordinate with survey teams.
Good understanding of construction safety practices.
o Bulk earthwork operations (cut & fill, embankment formation).
o Sub-base and base course preparation (ABC, subgrade, granular fill).
o Slope grading, shoulder formation, and side ditch shaping.
o Working with surveyors to achieve required levels and tolerances.
