## Position Summary
The Electrical QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities for utility-scale Solar PV projects comply with project specifications, client requirements, approved drawings, and international quality standards. The role includes inspections, documentation, quality control, and coordination with construction and commissioning teams.

## Key Roles & Responsibilities
* Perform QA/QC inspections for all electrical installation activities.
* Review and approve Method Statements (MS), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
* Conduct inspections of cable laying, cable tray installation, terminations, earthing, lighting, switchgear, transformers, inverters, RMUs, and substations.
* Verify compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.
* Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors.
* Raise, monitor, and close NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), Site Observation Reports (SORs), and corrective actions.
* Prepare inspection reports, quality documentation, and test records.
* Witness electrical testing activities, including insulation resistance, continuity, grounding, functional, and commissioning tests.
* Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, SEC, and project quality standards.
* Monitor subcontractor quality performance.
* Maintain QA/QC documentation, material inspection records, and turnover dossiers.
* Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and project handover activities.

## Required Skills
* Strong knowledge of Solar PV electrical systems.
* Experience in QA/QC documentation and inspection procedures.
* Familiarity with ITPs, Method Statements, and Quality Management Systems.
* Knowledge of LV/MV systems, substations, transformers, switchgear, inverters, and SCADA.
* Ability to interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, and technical specifications.
* Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards.
* Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
* Strong communication and reporting skills.

## Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
* Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) Registration (Preferred).
* ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification (Preferred).
* OSHA/NEBOSH/IOSH Certification is an advantage.

## Experience
* **5–8 years** of QA/QC experience.
* Minimum **3 years** in **Utility-Scale Solar PV Projects**.
* Experience in electrical installation, testing, inspection, and commissioning.
* GCC/Saudi Arabia project experience preferred.

## Preferred Experience
* Utility-scale Solar PV projects (50MW+).
* Experience with EPC contractors such as L&T, ACWA Power, Masdar, Belectric, Sterling & Wilson, or other major renewable energy companies.
* Familiarity with project turnover documentation and client inspections.
