We are hiring an experienced Manager – IT for a leading manufacturing organization based in Ndola, Zambia.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software.
Ensure smooth functioning of the ERP system (SAP preferred) and resolve ERP-related issues.
Prepare and manage the annual IT budget.
Implement and maintain IT security policies, firewalls, access controls, data backup, and disaster recovery plans.
Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and software implementations.
Maintain IT documentation, records, and data integrity.
Ensure compliance with IT SOPs and security standards across the organization.
Lead and support the IT team while coordinating with internal stakeholders.
Requirements
B.E./B.Tech/B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum 7 years of managerial experience in IT.
ERP experience is mandatory; SAP experience is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, servers, hardware, software, cybersecurity, and data backup.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work in shifts.
Preferred Industry
First Preference: Flexible Packaging Industry.
Candidates from other manufacturing industries with strong ERP and IT infrastructure experience will also be considered.
