Job Summary

The Aluminium Site Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and managing all aluminium installation activities at project sites. The role ensures that works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, company quality standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:
* Manage daily site operations for aluminium, glazing, curtain wall, doors, windows, skylights, handrails, and related works.
* Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to achieve project milestones.
* Ensure installation follows approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
* Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of all site activities.
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work plans.

Site Supervision:
* Supervise Site Supervisors, Foremen, Technicians, and Installation Teams.
* Monitor workmanship and ensure installations meet quality standards.
* Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve installation issues.
* Ensure proper alignment, leveling, fixing, waterproofing, and finishing of aluminium systems.
* Verify completed work before requesting inspections from consultants or clients.

Project Coordination:
* Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, architects, and project managers.
* Attend project meetings and represent the company professionally.
* Coordinate with the factory regarding fabrication progress and delivery schedules.
* Coordinate with procurement for required materials and accessories.
* Ensure materials are delivered according to the installation schedule.

Quality Control:
* Ensure all installations comply with approved drawings and quality requirements.
* Conduct quality inspections before consultant inspections.
* Prepare snag lists and ensure prompt rectification.
* Monitor installation tolerances and finish quality.
* Ensure all project documentation is properly maintained.
* Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
* Enforce company safety policies and site regulations.
* Ensure all workers wear appropriate PPE.
* Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
* Report accidents, incidents, and near misses immediately.
* Ensure safe lifting, scaffolding, and working-at-height practices.

Progress Monitoring:
* Prepare daily progress reports.
* Submit weekly installation status reports.
* Monitor productivity and manpower performance.
* Identify delays and implement corrective actions.
* Update management on project progress and potential risks.

Material Management:
* Verify material deliveries.
* Ensure proper storage and protection of aluminium materials.
* Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
* Coordinate replacement of damaged materials.
* Maintain inventory records at the project site.

Client & Consultant Relations:
* Maintain good communication with clients and consultants.
* Resolve site-related issues professionally.
* Attend inspections and coordinate approvals.
* Ensure customer satisfaction throughout project execution.

Documentation:
* Maintain site diaries.
* Prepare inspection requests.
* Record manpower attendance.
* Prepare completion reports.
* Maintain as-built documentation.
* Document variations and additional work.

Team Management:
* Supervise and motivate site personnel.
* Conduct performance evaluations.
* Train new employees on installation standards.
* Ensure discipline and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:
* Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Certification in Project Management or HSE is an advantage.

Experience:
* Minimum 5–8 years of experience in aluminium and glazing installation.
* At least 3 years in a supervisory or site management role.
* Experience with curtain walls, doors, windows, skylights, façades, and structural glazing.
* GCC/Bahrain experience is preferred.

Technical Skills:
* Strong knowledge of aluminium systems and installation techniques.
* Ability to interpret architectural and shop drawings.
* Knowledge of construction sequencing and coordination.
* Familiarity with quality control procedures.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Knowledge of AutoCAD and project management software is an advantage.

The Aluminium Site Manager is authorized to:
* Assign and supervise daily work activities.
* Coordinate manpower deployment.
* Approve daily site work schedules.
* Stop unsafe work activities.
* Request materials and equipment required for project execution.
* Recommend disciplinary action for non-compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
* Coordinate directly with clients, consultants, and contractors on site-related matters, subject to company procedures.
