The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring heavy equipment on a rental basis, obtaining competitive quotations, negotiating commercial terms, issuing purchase orders, coordinating equipment mobilization and demobilization, ensuring equipment availability to meet operational requirements, and maintaining strong relationships with rental suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and procure heavy equipment on rental from approved suppliers.
Obtain competitive quotations and negotiate rental rates, commercial terms, and service agreements.
Coordinate equipment mobilization, demobilization, replacements, and off-hire activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with heavy equipment rental companies.
Ensure timely availability of equipment to support project and operational requirements.
Monitor rental contracts, utilization, and equipment performance throughout the rental period.
Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and Logistics teams for equipment deployment.
Maintain procurement records, supplier database, and rental documentation in the ERP system.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and optimize equipment rental utilization.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment rental procurement within Saudi Arabia.
Strong knowledge of the Saudi heavy equipment rental market and established supplier network.
Experience in procuring equipment such as mobile cranes, crawler cranes, excavators, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, bulldozers, graders, rollers, telehandlers, forklifts, manlifts, generators, air compressors, lighting towers, and other construction and industrial equipment.
Strong negotiation skills for rental rates, contracts, and commercial agreements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Transferable Iqama with immediate availability is preferred.
